Pro-active support and close liaison with Cost Coordinator, Cost Specialist, Cost Technician, Cost Estimators, Cost Estimating Technicians and Quantity Surveyors. Coordination & Administration of Annual Work Plan & Budget plus AFE’s and company’s rolling 5 year business plan. AFE and Capex, Budget Status Reports to ensure VOWD (Value of Work Done) are within the approved AFE and Capex Budget values Maintaning trends for scope change and cost increase per various reasons for incorporation into next WP&B review Prepare and update monthly progress curves VOWD/Expenditure/ Earned Value and variance analyses

Management of data base with historical planning information. Distribution of Weekly & Monthly reports for the General Projects Department. Identifying best series of events in correct order for the project to finish on time and on budget Communicating cost analysis to project leaders highlighting any cost over-runs to enable timely corrective actions. Issue planning reports,schedules and graphs from Engineering phase up to Commissioning Presentation of work schedule to project managers and customers. Preparation of back up visual aids for the presentations to include bar charts and network diagrams to assist further clarification. Regular use of Primavera software and assistance with data input for project planners. Regular monitoring of project schedule , ensuring anticipated progress being met. Preparation of ‘Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled’ (or Spent Profile), negotiation and agreement with the functional leaders. Updating of records for Direct Costs for other direct project costs such as consultancy work, software, travel, meals .. Liaising with Accounts Department to charge company’s overheads (indirect costs) according to company’s overhead allocation system/procedures. Support to Accounts Department for accrued invoices at predetermined project payment milestones to enable client billing & maintain Invoice Register. Generating weekly and monthly cost reports in tabular and graphical formats for each project, including but not limited to ‘Earned Value Report’, ‘Plan Spent versus Actual Spent’ etc. Revising project cost estimates at the end of every reporting period to generate ‘Forecast At Completion’. Final updating of all records at project completion, for future project cost estimation/reference. Referencing & archiving of all electronic and hard copy files of project cost reports.
