My role was supporting a multidisciplinary group of designers within the CAD section: * Providing drawings for Electrical, Instrument, Pipeline, Mechanical and Civil Designers in Engineering Department. ; * Adding Russian translations to engineering drawings using Microstation-J, AutoCAD 2000, 2002, I-Sketch systems. ; * Providing support and solving technical problems concerning graphic applications, such as CorelDraw, Freehand, AutoCad, Microstation etc. ; * Creating new fonts and customizing AutoCad and Microstation-J for convenient use in both languages (English and Russian) ; * Providing Translations for drawings and workscopes and bills of material within engineering workpacks ; * Interpreting during meeting with vendors, tradesmen etc. ; * Handling Vendor Drawings Databases ; * Assisting with site surveys of Unit 3 gas processing plant ;

Contracted to Karachaganak Project Development Team (KPDT) to provide technical English/Russian translation for the following: manuals, user guides, specifications and drawings. Flour Daniel - Feasibility study for tie-in to hydrocarbon pipeline between Samara and Uralsk. CAD design on small ad-hoc projects such as Refurbishment of tank farm, conversion of old barge to accommodation / restaurant facility & Design and production of drawings for future company products i.e. hand tools, farm implements etc.
