By having the right knowledge of current virtualisation trends of VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, I successfully converted potential end-users to existing customers. My daily duties were to cooperate with channel partners, distributors and consultants to identify and close new businesses. By helping the prospects with the evaluation of the software, I was able to build strong relationships with my clients, gaining their trust and communicate further in Dutch, German, French and English. My main goals were to forecast, manage accounts and cross-sell, close quota per quarter, provide advice and mostly to present the value and benefits of Veeam Software.

I worked in a fast growing, challenging environment by developing various solutions for Deloitte clients' portfolios. I also learned how to deal with high profile clients, collaborate in teams and analyse client issues and assist with the development of potential recommendations and solutions. I was responsible for future strategies and financial projections for top tier Deloitte corporations and worked on their accounts. Working for Deloitte brought me a whole new perspective to business models and financial planning. Not only I learned how to think forward, but I also gained the whole picture of how my business skills can be performed in practice.

Responsible for Enterprise Risk Management: mitigate future operational losses by performing statistical analysis. Performed various types of analysis: audit and scenario analysis. Learned how to understand Gazprom's strategy and implement effective solutions for the future in terms of clients. What I enjoyed working on was a project for subsidiaries whereby I could show my creativity and business development skills by drive new business models and hereby I gained knowledge of how to penetrate new markets and variating the value chain models.

I have worked for Harrods for a few months as an intern in the Food Halls Buying Department. My responsibilities were to collaborate with the buying team and present new ranges of exclusive, expensive and extravagant pantry, candy, tea and coffee. By ordering the samples, tasting and making financial projections, I was able to decide which product Harrods would sell. Harrods is known for its exclusivity and luxury and for me this was a great experience to have the big picture in mind, planning the seasonal ranges and what we would buy, keeping the fact that the margins need to be in Harrods' favour.
