Review and approve Contractor and Sub-contractor Inspection and Test Plans for conformance to specification, codes and standards and identification of inspection intervention requirements.  Verify quality control documentation in the form of Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements and work instructions and inspection records , test certificates are available prior to work commencing.  Ensure work sequence is planned and controlled via Implementation and adherence to company approved method statements and work instructions.  Surveillance activities of Piping / Mechanical construction and testing works at site as required by Inspection and Test Plans to verify product conformity and full compliance with engineering drawings specification , codes & standards and project contract documents.  Witnessing NDT of Welding works to verify adequacy of construction and inspection methodologies in producing product conforming to engineering drawings, specification, codes & standards and project contract documents.  Review and acceptance, via signature, of process and inspection verification documents in the form of Inspection and Test Plans, Inspection records, checklists and Test certificates.  Monitoring and reporting the works status using Computer software (MS project).  Ensure company regulations with regard to work safety and environment preservation are maintained.  Produce and submit daily Inspection Reports identifying items inspection, acceptance / rejection rates and area of concern.  Carry out surveillance inspection of materials, consumables, welding for the different piping systems, piping supports and steel structure in different QPD offshore platforms.  Check for the hydro-test packages, witness for hydro-tests and reinstatement works.  Review, endorse NDT and QC reports and prepare daily and weekly reports. Assessment & review of documentation required for the successful work completion.  Witness building, bolts tightening and hydro-testing for Flanged end pipe spools for the successful work completion.
