Responsibilities: • Planning lessons and teaching classes. Classes included: o General and Business English, and IELTS classes o SEGi University College foundation courses (classes taught in English) for high school students wishing to enroll and study in foreign universities.

Responsibilities: • Developing and teaching curriculums for Lower and Middle school students using the Multisensory Learning as a tool and with a focus on English for STEAM disciplines. 2015/02 – 2015/12 Head of CPE and SAT I Department Responsibilities: • All responsibilities of a mentor and a teacher (see below) • Developing the CPE and SAT 1 course. This mostly meant creating a syllabus for this course, to combine the skills needed to take the CPE examination and start preparing students for the SAT 1 examination, and to find and compile material for the course. This included: o Reading and discussing shortened versions of Western literature o Discussing and comparing different ideas presented by different authors writing about similar themes o Learning about the basic ideas and actions of some historical figures from the Western world and how to apply them in discussions and writings o Helping students transition to the Western style of testing mathematics o Testing the material for appropriateness in difficulty, effectiveness and students’ response Achievements: • Recipient of “Greatest Contributing Teacher” award 2014/05 – 2015/01 Head of CAE Department Responsibilities: • All responsibilities of a mentor and a teacher(see below) • Leading a team of six teachers for the following tasks: o Update the CAE course material to match the 2015 updated version of the CAE exam o Develop a supplementary reading class for students taking the CAE course. The aim of this reading course was to familiarize students with critical reading and train their ability to understand passages and discuss them. o Simplify information and establish guidelines to translate mock exam results for relevant departments to better communicate with parents o Research TOEFL examination to possibly extend the CAE course to include the skills to take the TOEFL exam as well Achievements: • Recipient of “Most Magnetic Teacher” award 2013/04 – 2014/04 Mentor Responsibilities: • All responsibilities of a teacher (see below) • Supporting relevant departments in the hiring process for new teachers • Mentoring and training teachers (by assessing their classes and demonstration classes, communication with other departments to get feedback from parents and students, working with the teacher to improve where needed) Achievements: • First teacher in the history of the school to be promoted to mentor in two months 2013/01 – 2013/03 Teacher Responsibilities: • Planning lessons and teaching classes focusing on a systematic approach towards helping students to learn English for short term goals (passing examinations) and long term goals (learning to use English as a tool for communication and learning) • Class details: o Students range from 8 years old to 16 years old o Up to 25 students per class, average of 18 students o Classes consist of 3 class hours • Courses taught: Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET), Cambridge English: First (FCE), Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) and SSAT 1 Mathematics. All classes were taught entirely in English. • Having demonstration classes for potential students and parents • Constant feedback for students and communication with parents regarding the students’ progress, homework, classroom conduct and necessary steps for improvement • Working with and supporting relevant departments recruit students by doing placement tests, going to test centers to offer encouragement and moral support for students

2011/09 – 2012/12 English Teacher (Full-Time) Responsibilities: • Planning lessons and teaching classes. Classes included: o TOEIC preparation test, Speaking part – for university students o Business English – for Hyundai Motor Co., LG Electronics, SK Group and Lotte Co. Ltd. o Grade One English o English Speaking – for various students aged 20 and up Achievements: • Designed syllabus for the whole Business English course. This consisted of four levels (ranging from Lower Intermediate level to Advanced level), each containing 45 class hours • The result of one of the SK Group corporate classes was so successful that the client renewed the contract with the school provided that I continue teaching the classes 2011/06 – 2011/08 English Teacher (Part-Time) Responsibilities: • Planning lessons and teaching classes.
