 Implementation of regional activities  Interaction with experts from the National Hydrometeorology Services of Central Asia, Executive Committee of IFAS, World Bank Group, external international consultants, etc  Organizing capacity building workshops on disaster risk management

- Providing subject matter expertise on waste, water, air management and overall assurance of compliance of TCO FGP operations with RoK environmental regulations and Chevron environmental standards. - Delivery of the ELC Assurance Process for post award activities. - Conducting ELC Pre Job Reviews to support contractors in developing environmental management systems which meet project requirements. - Supporting contractors during the development of their management systems and procedures to ensure they are completed in a timely manner. - Reviewing Contractor management systems (CMP) and implementation plans (CIP) to ensure they meet project requirements and that the ELC impact mitigations can be implemented effectively by the contractor. - Issuing corrective action forms, non-conformance reports and incident reports to contractors. - Reviewing of contractor environmental monthly reports. - Completing Environmental Inspections as part of the ELC Assurance Process. - Completing Environmental Audits as part of the ELC Assurance Process.

- Supporting all activities related to environmental aspects, providing expertise and support to assure the minimization of impact on the environment. - Liaison with clients and sub-contractors. Perform assessments and follow-¬up of contractors related to environmental issues, waste handling etc, in compliance with the state environmental regulatory requirements. - Undertaking field work to identify previous activities on the site and any contamination. Managing the process of reclamation of oil polluted land in the area of responsibility. - Assisting in the preparation of the environmental reporting requirements etc.

- Work with donor community/international organizations such as World Bank, UNECE, FAO UN, UNRCCA, UNESCAP, GIZ, USAID, FFEM etc. - Contributed to the publication “Water resources in Central Asia: current status, problems and perspectives of use”. Almaty, 2013. - Contributed to the publication “Application of the Integrated Water Resources Management concept in Central Asia: existing practices and the way forward”, prepared by German-Kazakh University, Almaty, 2013. - Contributed to the publication “International Fund for saving the Aral Sea: 20 years towards cooperation”, prepared by the composite author of Central Asian water experts, May 2013. - Analyzing the relevance and application of the UNECE environmental Conventions by the countries of Central Asia, with particular focus on the 1992 UNECE Convention on the protection and use of transboundary watercourses and international lakes. - Drafting water coordination strategies in the Aral Sea Basin. - Preparing reports and statements on transboundary water management issues in Central Asia. - Preparing key-note speeches for high-level meetings on water related issues in Central Asia. - Project database management - Third Aral Sea Basin Program (ASBP-3). - Projects priority and focal points definition and ToR negotiation with organizations in the Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. - Experience in project concept documents preparation. - Contributed to preparing a project document “Restoration of degraded land through afforestation of the dried seabed of the Aral Sea”. - Participated in regional projects implementation process. - Communication with national, regional and international institutions and organizations. - Organized events: seminars, national consultations and high level conferences, i.e. Donor Coordination Conferences, Meeting of IFAS Board and others (drafting agenda, list of invitees, preparing conference documentation etc).  Focal point for Component A “Strengthening Regional Coordination and Informational Sharing” within the “Central Asia Hydrometeorology Modernization Project” implemented jointly by the World Bank and the Regional Center of Hydrology EC IFAS. - Participated in the project development process “Central Asia Hydrometeorology Modernization Project”. - Prepared tender documentation on goods and equipment delivery to the National Hydro Meteorological Services of Central Asian countries. - Prepared documentation on consultancy services - System Integrator of the project and on training specialists of ministries, agencies and hydrometeorological services.

Project “Mutually acceptable mechanism on integrated use of water resources in Central Asia through applying a Scenario Approach (phase I)”: - Establishing contacts with national and regional partners and key stakeholders dealing with environmental and water related issues in the region. - Preparing a comprehensive inventory of national and international studies, research publications, master plans, sector investment plans, sector reports, and other relevant documents regarding cooperative actions in the Aral Sea basin. - Extracting development opportunities, infrastructure investment projects, and policy options, (regulations, policies, approaches, technologies, etc). - Identifying and obtaining relevant documents on the benefits of cooperation with a focus on the energy-water-agriculture-trade-transport-environment sectors.

- Consulting clients regarding construction, financing, maintenance and repairs issues. - Advising clients to determine what kind of houses (projects) they are seeking. - Advising clients on specifics of construction from different material (brick, timber), land renting issues, legal requirements, etc. - Negotiating on terms of payment. Prepared documents such as sales agreements and leases, liaison with lawyers on contracts drafting. - Marketing and promotion. - Analysis on real estate market. - Assurance of the applicable work quality standards and company norms. - Liaison with contractors.
