Conduct survey and monitoring of suppliers / contractors, inspections and tests in accordance with the approved quality plan, inspection and test plan, quality procedures, etc. To check and confirm the safety of the equipment in accordance with the supplier's recommendations and approved storage procedures. To keep records and prepare reports to the Supervisor for QC on progress and quality of work. Observe the coating inspection (including sputtering metallization, fire safety), as well as insulation work carried out in the workshop or on construction sites. Monitor work sites for compliance with established safety rules, standards and procedures.

Blast & Painting, Insulation, Passive Fire Protection. Quality control and acceptance should be carried out for all stages and operations of cleaning and painting works from the inspection of materials and equipment used until the final acceptance of the coating. All materials used (paints, solvents, abrasives, etc.) must have the necessary accompanying documentation, confirming their quality, and be stored properly. Technological equipment and equipment should be in working condition The control devices should be checked in due course and labelled with the appropriate brand. All works must have the necessary technological documents (instructions, methods, etc.), the relevant requirements of the standards for these works. Workers and maintenance personnel should be familiar with the documentation and requirements for cleaning and painting works and have the appropriate qualifications. The environmental conditions must comply with the requirements specified in the relevant standards and technology documentation for specific types of work.

Verify all equipment’s where Blasting/Painting is not required to be masked out. - Monitor degreasing and High pressure fresh water wash to be carried out. - Verify weld spatter and all surfaces irregularities to be removed. - Chloride Test to be carried out as per Standard (When required). - Compressed air used for abrasive blasting to be checked as per Standard. - Monitor size, shape, dryness and cleanliness of the abrasive. - Abrasive conductivity test to be carried out as per Standard (When required). - Monitor air pressure and nozzle size of blasting equipment. - Observe ambient condition and substrate temperature. - Surface cleanliness to be verified using Standard. - The surface to be blasted should be free from grease, oil and other contaminants. - Anchor profile to be checked as per client’s requirement. - Monitor blow down of spent abrasives and materials. - Dust contamination test has been carried out as per Standard (If required). - Monitor mixing and thinning of the paint. - Monitor the coating application and wet film thickness. - Monitor and ensure over coating intervals between each coat of paint. - Check the paint drum (manufacture, paint name, batch number, batch certificate, expiry date etc…). - Monitor and ensure the paint materials are storage in good condition. - Verify after coating the required dry film thickness. - Check coating curing test as per standard (When required). - Monitor performance of Blaster and Painter at site. - Raise NCR’s for non-conforming products. - Raise punch lists for incomplete works. - Check Holiday/Pinhole and Adhesion test (When applicable). - Check calibration of the equipment. - Ensure that necessary inspections are carried out as per the applicable specification. - Check that adequate and proper repair of all defects has been undertaken. - Check paint/coating colour, appearances, and shade uniformity.

- Provide assistance with data inputting as required - Identify certification requirements from information provided by supervisor / client - Check and maintain coating qualification(s) and provide information to supervisor when updates are required - Inspection of material test certificates - Cross check information in coating reports - To scan and copy of certification packages, for submission to supervisor for checking - Work with procedures - Perform routine inspections of coating activity - Report any issues found immediately to line manager - Attend any training courses necessary for work scope - Perform training to new employees as required - Ability to read and ensure compliance to project specifications
