Overseeing Legal and External Affairs team: • Legal • External Affairs • Security Main responsibilities: • Legal: Protection of BAT brands, commercial interests and corporate reputation via analysing and identifying the legal risks and implications of business transactions; creating regulatory proposals to support business growth • External Affairs: Shaping the regulatory and excise landscape to create opportunities for business to grow through proactive engagement with government and none government stakeholders • Security: Securing people, assets and business processes via proactive security risk management

Covering territories: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon • Overseeing compliance to Standards of business conduct (including Anti Bribery and Corruption, Conflicts of interest, Speak-up processes) • Legal analysis of sanctions related projects, including end to end sanctions compliance for manufacturing materials and finish goods supply (US/EU/UN economic sanctions) • Legal support to Operational Marketing department, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, SP&I and Finance departments

Covering territories: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan • Legal support to Operational Marketing department (Brand Marketing), Distribution department (Trade Marketing), Supply Chain, SP&I and Distribution management • Legal support to Finance department – Corporate and Marketing (including taxation, investment, transfer pricing) • Overseeing of IP issues and developments • Legal support to HR, EHS, Security • Leading legal team (five team members)

• Legal support to Operational Marketing department (Brand Marketing), Distribution department (Trade Marketing), Supply Chain, SP&I and Distribution management • Legal support to Finance department – Corporate and Marketing (including taxation, investment, transfer pricing) • Insuring compliance of marketing and trade activities of the Company in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan • Overseeing of IP issues • Legal support to Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Department

Covering territories: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia • Legal support to Marketing department (Brand Marketing), Sales department (Trade Marketing) • Legal support to Finance department – Corporate and Marketing (including taxation, investment, transfer pricing, bank loans) • Insuring compliance of marketing and trade activities of the Company in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia • Overseeing of all IP questions and developments within mentioned three markets • IP support (trademark registration, trademark defence, court disputes) • Insuring compliance of Company’s Corporate Governance (minutes of Board, Shareholders meetings, quarterly reports to state authorities, KASE)
