HRD_Business Director
1. Monitor the progress of all tasks or projects, identified by the CEO or Executive Managers as company critical. Assessing progress against agreed time lines or objectives. (participation in foundation of Association of Airlines of Kazakhstan, construction of Hangars in Atyrau, insurance issues, customs issues, work with EU ban, any other business activity);
2. Management oversight of any HR related issues, including:
Executive oversight of HR Manager and staff activity;
Upgrading and optimization of organizational structure;
Creating and implementation of company's policies (sickness, drug & alcohol, travel, financial assistance policy, levels of authority, review of Event Response Manual, etc.), upgrading current polices;
Management and agreement of effective and efficient company staffing levels, assessment and salary increase (manpower plans, analyses and proposals);
Executive oversight of the correct process of recruitment/adaptation/correct payments/vacations/staff paper work, etc.;
Drafting and protection of HR & Admin departments budgets;
Executive oversight of company disciplinary procedures; arbitration of internal HR disputes or grievances.
3. Management and oversight of Administration staff (Reception, General office, Legal, IT, Transport departments- appr. 25 subordinates).
4. PA functions to the President and CEO (participation and arrangement of VVIP business meetings).
HRM
Recruitment of local and expatriate personnel; adaptation, assessment;
one of achievements: together with management team successfully searched, selected and hired around 60 people for new opened Atyrau branch within 2 weeks;
internal development, arrangement of outside trainings for crew and engineers, making proposal of staff career progress (more than 30 employees were successfully moved up);
corporate culture evolution, internal communications, arrangement of corporate events;
renewal of company's HR manual, and other related policies and procedures;
coordination and management of subordinates;
development and implementation of HR system, HR procedures, forms, etc.; memos, internal regulations, medical insurance, disciplinary issues;
management and staff consultations to any issues related to local labour legislation and general practice; legal assistance in labour issues, drafting of internal contracts and agreements for company's staff;
oversight of any issues related to legal status of expatriate personnel (appr. 40 % of staff were expats), work permits, visa support and extension, various arrangements for foreigners;
recruitment (locals and expatriates),
oversight of keeping personnel files and timetables, employment agreements, labour disputes, staff paper work.
