Well Engineering Superintendent
• Lead and control Drilling, Completion, WO/WI activities on 4 major oil fields: Komsomolskoe, Tasbulat, Turkmenoi and Aktas. Well depths (5800mMD / 5000mTVD). Horizontal wells with MD up to 5500 m. 2 Drilling rigs 2000hp, 2 WO rigs with 500hp with overall POB – 160. Overall WO and Drilling supervisors at field 16 (day/night) including HSE.
• Daily monitor and follow Drilling, WO/WI operations, ensure all contractors follow Company policies standards, and procedures, local industrial safety regulations and perform services and operations as per approved Drilling, Completion and WO/WI program.
• Attend daily overall operational meeting and conduct individual operational meeting with assigned Drilling and WO and HSE Supervisors to discuss overall operation evaluations.
• Lead to prepare WO/WI programs as per request from Production and DRE departments.
• Recommend changes in some aspects of completion/workover program to optimize completion methods and techniques, check and sign prepared WO/WI Programs.
• Coach and advise WO/WI supervisors through operation issues during execution.
• Pre-spud check rig equipment and layout, sign prior each Drilling and WO/WI operations.
• Follow rig move, rig up/down operations: Permit to work (including JSA and TBT) according to the WO procedures, hand overing documentations, equipment layout according to approved program.
• Control and follow up downhole equipment stock status from warehouses to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Lead Supervisors to control contractor personnel, services and equipment are available at wellsite on planned date and avoid any delay in operations.
• Control and track inspection of rig and lifting equipment, actions plans and track progress in closing actions.
• Ensure Contractor is owning and following its preventive maintenance system to know status of equipment, inspection intervals to minimize down times.
• Monthly and quarterly downtime analysis of Drilling, WO/WI operations.
• Daily/Monthly/Quarterly cost control, cumulative expenditure and AFEs, quality control for all operations.
• Issue Drilling, WO/WI budget estimates and input data for CAPEX and OPEX build up.
• Monthly field visit to monitor and evaluate contractor/subcontractor performances, safety, and continuous performance improvement. Health Safety Security & Environment evaluation.
• Monitoring, guiding, checking, and identifying contractors’ technical behavior, understanding and propose correction measures according Contractor management procedure and service contract.
• Weekly review and preplanning upcoming drilling campaign. Set individual goals and do within deadlines.
• Ensure lessons learning session after each operation and distribution to the relevant participants and stake holders.
• Inform Head of assets in case of any incident, unsafe act, or operation, get approval for any change on operational plans for MOC.

• Closely work with contractors and plan upcoming operations.
• Perform weekly minutes of meetings with contractors to discuss issues, LLs, propose/recommend measures to improve performance of works and provision of missing tasks, and prevent any delays, problems on operations.
