QA/QC E&I EX Engineer

SAKARYA GAS FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT- Third Party Inspector carrying out IECEx vendor package inspections to ensure that materials supplied are fully in accordance with the technical and commercial requirements of the Customer's purchase order. Ensuring IECEx/ATEX certified equipment installed is in adherence to the latest editions of IEC standards and local project specifications. Liaising with vendor management to ensure all project documentation is of the latest approved edition and to give guidance on installation correctives required to be completed prior to package shipment to client. Latest project as a TPI representing Turkish Petroleum Offshore for a major FPSO construction project – carrying out QC Surveillance and Auditing, IECEx vendor package inspections and Electrical Factory Acceptance Tests.

Knowledge with all relevant TCO specifications, local requirements, such as PUE RoK and international IEC standards (60079-0) and EU ATEX. NEMA VE / IEEE / ISA RP / ANSI MC96.1 / IEC 60529 Organization that all company and contractor personnel associated to Ex equipment management activities are competent as per the project Ex Competency Plan. EX inspection and preservation issues. Evaluate Change Notice Requests (CN’s) issued by the Contractor. Approve and endorse or reject accordingly. Liaise with Central Ex Compliance Lead and Ex QC Lead on all matters related to Ex Database program. Monitor all aspects of CompEx inspections during the construction phase, to ensure adherence to the company technical equirements and applicable codes. Engage with Systems Completion to ensure data interface between MCPlus and Ex Register Database, and allocation to QVDs and tagged equipment is accurate and managed. Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel. Review and approve contractor quality programs and inspection and test plans submitted per contract requirements, identify appropriate hold or witness points on inspection and test plans. Monitor all aspects of Quality Control relative to specialization during the construction phase, to ensure adherence to the company technical requirements and applicable codes including SID (Safety in Design). Observe for unsafe acts, correctly use V&V and Safe card. Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff Adhere to and support TCO Health Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Worked as Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Control Inspector on the Tengiz CATRO Project - Controlling contractor procedures, inspection and test plans and other technical and quality documents, to ensure effective controls... -Coordination with client for technical query and other activities related to on going construction. - Incoming Inspection of the material dept to ensure that materials have all needed documentation before start of work - Performing inspection for all E&I equipment’s installations, hookup, loop checking and functional testing are in compliance with the technical requirement according to the project specification. - Inspection of cable trench, cable installation including cable trays, cable glands, termination, insulation resistance, continuity testing etc. - Witnessing all tests including verification and calibration of instruments and safety devices - Inspection of Fiber optic cable installation - Inspection of High voltage system up to 10KV, Diesel generator, power transformer, Switchboard & HVAC Panel, Lighting and Earthing system - Performing inspection for all E&I equipment’s installations,are in compliance with the technical requirement according to the project specification. - Closing check list and Acts. - Generating, reviewing and approving Electrical & Instrument QVD Matrix.. - Quality control of all E&I pre-commissioning works - Red Line Mark Up on drawings for E&I and Telecom Disciplines..

Preparation of the list of electrical, instrumentation, fire and gas, and fiber-optic test equipment. 2. Preparation of official documents "Senimdi Kurylys" on electrical and instrumentation works according to the requirements of Kazakhstan. 3. Check drawings in the work package TCO ("Tengizchevroil" LLP) for compliance with the requirements of the project. 4. check project materials issued by TCO, according to the requirements of the project and preparation of the necessary Acts and control statements according to the matrix in the work package. 5.Testing all cables on cable drums according to the requirements of the project and preparation of the necessary Acts and checklist before using the data cable on the jobsite. 6. Tests required componentspower switchboards, transformers, equipment of low / medium / high voltage electric motors, lighting equipment, fire and gas detectors / alarms / alarm / panels, fiber optic panels, panels of cathodic protection before using them for the work site. 7. Fulfillment commissioning of electrical systems of low / medium / high voltage systems, instrumentation, fire and gas systems, fiber-optic system.
