Senior IT Infrastructure Support Engineer
Location: Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Tengizchevroil Headquarters office. Job responsibilities: - Call center activities first level support - Perform activities on Remedy system for call ticketing and customer support - Perform desk-side support service per predefined/ location specific service process - Perform video conferencing end user support and meeting setup - Manage workflow and service request through call ticketing system (Remedy, ServiceNow) - Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for end users - Hardware and Software upgrades - Performance of IT support duties as defined by the appropriate team lead - General Desktop Support/Project Coordination/Move activities - High level of customer focus and strong customer support commitment - Facilitates communication with customers, CVX partners, contractors, and vendors - Support and assist colleagues; commit to and be accountable for overall group success - Work with other support groups and vendors to provide seamless support to customers - Monitor, analyze and address reliability and performance issues - Analyze problems, develop creative solutions and assess risks/benefits - Develop strategies for resolving them and preventing future occurrences - Work with a 3rd level support group to assist with application design/development/upgrade testing and implementation. - Assess and address compliance with applicable IP Policies, Standards, and Technical Controls. IT Service Desk Analyst
Location: Kazakhstan, Atyrau, NCOC N.V. Frontier Plaza Office. Job responsibilities: - Receive calls and emails with users’ queries: Incidents and Requests - Classification, prioritization of calls and incidents. IT On-Site Support Engineer
NCOC N.V. Project - Deployment of Windows 7 on work places in all locations (Atyrau offices, Karabatan facilities), the timeframe of the project implementation was very tight and the following tasks were fulfilled successfully: - Collect Desktops for Deployment as per the migration schedule from nominated site Storage Area. - Assist with User Data Backup where this is not able to be automated. Transport the Desktop to the nominated users’ Desk and replace their old Desktop. - Ensure Network Connectivity. - Restore User Data. - Conduct Asset Management as per the agreed asset management process. - Move stock from storage to Build room - Set up Desktops/Laptops in Build Room - Build Desktops/Laptops with Windows 7 Image as per Build Instructions - Install User Applications as per Build Instructions - Label and Prepare the Desktops for Shipment to Site - Conduct Asset Management as per the agreed asset management process - The Build Room will also be the Laptop Drop Off Centre for users - Users will be instructed to Drop Off their Laptops at a nominated time - The Build Engineers will collect the Laptop and agree a time for them to return to collect their new Laptop - The Build Engineers will make a Backup of users Data on the Laptop and restore the Data to the users new Laptop - Label and prepare the Laptop for collection by the user - Provide feedback on all errors experienced by during the build process to the migration team - Assist customer with technical issues faced after migrating to Windows 7. - Assist customers with configuring settings such as printers and screen resolution - Assist customers getting familiar with Win 10 and Office 365 e.g. new ribbons - Direct users on where to turn for further help or training - Provide feedback to migration team on the progress and learning from the site migration. - Provide feedback on recurring errors experienced by users to the migration team - Coordinate and work with appointed site focal point during the migration phase
