- Creation of Math program for NUFYP ET - SMM - Advertisement - Analytics of sales - Negotiation with Students and Tutors

At the beginning of summer 2020, I had a great opportunity to begin my own business related to Education and Tutoring. The main field of work is IELTS, SAT, NUFYPET Preparation. My key responsibility was to lead all structural and organizational work. This includes formation and further work with the Marketing Department, Sales Department, and Educational Department. Company’s team comprised of 6 staffing members and more than 15 outsource educators. My responsibilities also included the formation of the unified educational program in Math for students of 5, 6, and 11 grades.

This year I had a great opportunity to participate in the start-up incubation program. During the program, I and my teammates learnt how to conduct Customer Development, Market Analysis; We have acquired presentation, sales, and persuasion skills. Moreover, we were holding a Pitch-Desk with potential investors from Shell Kazakhstan.

During more than 1 semester I used to be a member of NU SG Ministry of Justice and Security. This time I have had a lot of different tasks, mostly regarding the student’s rights and duties. I have gained amazing experience in interacting with the University administration and officials. Our ministry’s work has resulted in decreased prices in a shop and a canteen, dormitory places for Astana residents, and working hours of the Library. We also have resolved a large number of students’ personal cases.

I had a great opportunity to be a part of HPAIR. I used to work on it as a volunteer coordinator. I was managing a team of 20 volunteers. Our key responsibilities were to help participants in navigation, solving some of their issues. This experience let me to have a conversation with HPAIR delegates about their work experience and their thinking manners. I also had a possibility to observe actual case championship.

I used to work in Hilton Hotel under the role of Room Service Waiter. Even though it seems that work does not require intellectual abilities, it has put me under brand-new circumstances. I had to communicate with people providing the highest standards of Hilton under the constant pressure. I learnt how to deal with stressful situations and occurring local problems as well as to negotiate with the hotel’s top-management (we were working from the very beginning).

I used to work as a translator (Kazakh – Russian – English) during the exhibition on the stand of Moscow Export Centre (MEC). Key responsibility was to help to communicate MEC’s representatives and their business partners and guests. I was also helping in organising meetings and communicating with other exhibition participants.

In 2017 I was elected to participate in the Sakura Exchange Program in Science in Japan. The main purpose of my visit was to learn about modern technologies and contemporary learning techniques at Hokkaido University as well as to share my own knowledge. During the visit, we were said about The Integrated Science Program, which is aimed to teach the international student all over the world. During the internship, I also become acquainted with the University’s professors, which was very useful. Now I am a member of Sakura Science Club, which aims to spread sci-tech knowledge.

I had to be responsible for the Australian team of 7 members. I had to come from the very beginning of the day at 6 am, when they were getting up, until 10 pm, when they went to sleep. Within the day I was navigating them; I was the middleman in the communication between the local and the team.
