Verifying dimensions, welder’s certifications material certification and traceability for all materials and consumables being used in construction • Verify that all testing procedures have been approved and are on site. Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded and that testing equipment is calibrated. • Monitor the effectiveness of the Contractor’s material traceability process. • Monitor the weld preparation and welding process. • Monitor pipe fabrication and erection • Monitor NDE and ongoing compilation of weld records. • Ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out prior to acceptance of the work. Witness Contractor’s activities and ensure Contractor’s quality records are acceptable. • Review or witness in process and hold point inspection during construction in accordance with the Contractor’s ITP. • Witness acceptance tests and perform final quality check prior to acceptance • Where Nondestructive Testing (NDT) forms part of the work, the Inspector is required to witness or review NDT results • Review Contractor’s completion files for accuracy and adequacy • Hold weekly quality meeting with contractor • Give quality tool box talks to the team • Reports to 3GP Site Quality Lead

Hydrostatic and pneumatic testing: completion of relevant documentation, control in accordance with SNiP standards, GOST, VSN and client’s requirements; • Monitoring of the list of uncompleted works; • Inspection of flange bolts; • Preparation of pipeline’s passport.
