- Develop concurrent engineering and design to cost approach between development and industrialization Centers; - Support product strategy and technology roadmap from industrial perspective; - Define Industrial Requirements specification per Product Line; - Manage products Industrialization WP / provide prototypes needed; - Define the generic Product industrial breakdown structure (MBOM); - Manage industrial risk through Product / Process FMEA and associated improvement action plan when relevant; - Improve Product competitiveness: cost optimization, lead time reduction, quality improvement; - In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, finds and implement corrective solutions;

- Collects external (customer, standards) and internal (rolling stock) requirements, allocates them to the technical teams. - Defines the architecture and functionalities of the traction drive or auxiliary converter system, taking as input the external requirements as well as internal ones - Allocates – while optimizing the cost - the transverse requirements (EMC, acoustics, reliability, safety, weight, …) to the various traction or auxiliary functions, in close collaboration with experts and RAMS engineers - Ensures consistency and compatibility between all traction or auxiliary functions specifications by verifying every FRS and every component specification and by participating to all design reviews - Organises, prepares and leads the system design review - Builds the Product Breakdown Structure - Defines together with the validation team the traction or auxiliary validation strategy - Defines and participates in the commissioning (=fine tuning), and manage it together with the validation manager - Identifies the technical risks - Supports the traction or auxiliary PrEM for implementation or update of the technical part of the risk mitigation plan - Ensures that the constructional & functional traction or auxiliary configuration is compliant with requirements (verification) - Participates in technical meetings with customer in order to provide support to the Sub-System Manager and / or PrEM - Supports the traction or auxiliary PrEM by proposing QCD improvements - Analyses technical issues and proposes solutions during the commissioning and the reliability growth phase - Provides Return of Experience to be implemented in Reference Solutions. Contributes to the Return of Experience committee and documentation update

• Be responsible to manage warranty obligations from beginning of the contract up to its closure respecting the QCD commitment and including: • Write and get internal & external approval of Warranty Management Plan • Validate and update the spare parts in terms of quantity and type • Manage the warranty cases (ALSTOM and Subcontractors) • Manage Project Warranty Work Package (work package owner) • Reliability growth during the Warranty period and the REX capturing.

• Supervise all repair activities. Ensure that the team as the capacity to perform all needed work. Optimize the repair process to provide quick and reliable work to the customer. • Lead the technical committee to define the scrap and internal/external repair • Lead the repair process to provide quick and accurate quotation to the project manager • Prepare and execute repair when validate by the project manager • Lead the team of Repair and mechanic Ensure that all the activities carry out by Repair team are perform under full safety assessment. This assessment must be done according to the company rules with the support of the EHS engineer. • Audit and control the respect of the EHS within Repair team. • Take part in the development of technical solutions. • Interaction with representatives of outside organizations on relevant issues.

- Providing unscheduled service locomotive when a malfunction is detected. - Provision of relevant work on the elimination of faults of electric locomotives (input and output control during scheduled maintenance; - Systematic monitoring of locomotives in operation using “Train Tracer” software, including in unforeseen circumstances) to provide work 365 days a year according to the shift schedule, and at night, under control of the head or the replaceable master. - Check equipment for malfunction; - Take part in the development of technical solutions. - Interaction with representatives of outside organizations on relevant issues. - Compilation of technical documentation required to submit an incident report.
