- Managing and coordinating the HSE Department's operations; - Organizing and enabling production control activities related to occupational and industrial safety; - Developing and gradually putting in place the HSE management system and standards; - Developing look-ahead and actual HSE plans, monitoring their implementation; - Setting up internal and external HSE training systems; - Developing injury and occupational disease prevention activities, work environment improving activities following the regulatory documentation; - Developing and implementing hazardous factor mitigation programs; - Developing and updating the existing health and occupational safety, fire safety and task-specific procedures and instructions, providing methodological assistance to the management and other specialists in developing all types of toolbox talk programs; - Developing all types of measures to prevent environmental pollution, to ensure compliance with the environmental standards for proper work environment, to prevent accidents and disasters; - Organizing cause and effect investigations related to emission releases, preparing preventive solutions; - Organizing investigations of work-place accidents, emergencies and incidents, developing appropriate preventive measures; - Organizing recording of environmental indicators, setting up a record system for accident data, environmental monitoring data, waste-related documentation and other environmental information; - Monitoring efficient operation of treatment/cleaning and protective facilities; - Monitoring compliance with the legislative and other regulatory HSE documentation; - Organizing and performing medical and professional check-ups; - Participating in the inspections by state authorities; - Advising project and department managers on occupational, fire and environmental safety, developing recommendations to ensure compliance with the corresponding regulations; - Budgeting HSE department and tracking the budget spending - Ensuring the HSE reporting system is working; -Organizing and monitoring proper formalization of technical documentation as per the standards, rules and other HSE regulatory documentation.

- Managing the field HSE department, - Ensuring that the project site employees follow the occupational safety legislative and regulatory requirements; - Monitoring the provisioned measures to improve work safety and environment, adopting measures to eliminate the causes of work place accidents; -Monitoring proper use of work wear, personal and collective protection equipment; - Organizing maintenance activities to prevent work-place injuries and diseases; - Participating in the investigation of accidents, professional diseases at site, analyzing and identifying causes, developing preventive measures; - Participating in the production control committees; - Identifying, recording and assessing main health and safety risks, developing and implementing risk-management programs; -Developing and implementing internal HSE regulations; - Participating in the control measures monitoring compliance with the environmental safety requirements; - Monitoring performance of hazardous works, PtW issue process, job safety analysis; - Monitoring compliance of production and auxiliary facilities with the sanitary and hygiene requirements, checking safety equipment tools; - Participating in the occupational safety management system operation and improvement activities; - Acting on behalf of the HSE Department Manager in their absence.

- Monitoring compliance with the HSE rules by the facility's workers and contractors; - Coordinating operation of PSI group subdivisions during the construction of Aktogay mine with regard to the occupational health and safety; - Ensuring that contractors follow the KazMinerals procedures with regard to the occupational and environmental safety; - Developing and implementing internal occupational health and safety, environmental and fire safety documentation; - holding briefings and trainings in safe work methods; - Organizing and performing occupational and environmental safety audits within the company's production facilities; - Organizing and performing occupational and environmental safety audits within the contractors' production facilities; - participating in Client's meetings on occupational safety, preparing and making presentations for the meetings; - Cooperating with state authorities (State Fire Inspectorate, State Mining and Technical inspectorate, East Kazakhstan Department of Emergency Situations, Hygiene and Epidemiological Service, etc.); - Acting on behalf of the Department Manager in their absence; - Achievements: no loss time incidents, development and implementation of the occupational and environmental safety regulatory documentation, setting up the occupational and environmental safety department 'from scratch.'

- Inspecting the activities work areas and subdivisions take for the compliance with the legislative and regulatory RoK documentation on occupational health and safety; - Holding briefings and target trainings with the facility's personnel; - Cooperating with Client on issues related to occupational health and safety; - Cooperating with state authorities (State Fire Inspectorate, State Mining and Technical inspectorate, East Kazakhstan Department of Emergency Situations, Hygiene and Epidemiological Service, etc.); - Integrating Client's corporate requirements related to occupational health and safety and environmental safety.

- Inspection of activity areas and units for compliance with laws and regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of occupational health and safety; - Supervision of fire safety issues, civil defense and disaster preparedness; - Development and implementation of internal regulations for the protection of labor safety; - Conduct studies with plant personnel on health and safety, civil defense and emergency training, learning the rules of fire safety; - Work in an integrated management system (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001); - Work with the state. bodies (State Fire Supervision, State Mining Technical Supervision, DES EKR, SES, etc.); - Organization of actions for environmental protection; - Monitoring compliance with local regulations and standards for the protection of the environment; - Participation in verifying compliance with the technical state of equipment environmental requirements; - Maintain technical documentation and established reporting; - Implementation activities to implementation of the new technology with the environment in mind; - Obtaining permits for environmental management; - Oversee the work of closing inconsistencies and internal corporate audits;

- Organizing environmental safety activities; - Organizing and planning the environmental safety budgeting at the facility, processing 1C requests; - Monitoring compliance with the environmental safety rules and regulations at the facility; - Participating in the equipment checks for the compliance with the environmental safety requirements; - Evaluating economical losses related to environmental pollution; - Technical records management and reporting; - Coordinating introduction of new equipment with regard to the compliance with the environmental requirements; - Obtaining Nature Use Permits; - Monitoring closure of punch-points of corporate and internal audits; - Monitoring and ranking contractors for the degree of their compliance with the state and corporate environmental safety requirements. - Holding educational activities for the facility's and contractors’' personnel on the importance of environmental and occupational safety policy; - Working with the IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001); - Performing inspection walk-downs of the work areas and subdivisions to monitor their compliance with the corporate and legislative RoK requirements related to occupational health and safety - In charge of ISO 14001 IMS, developing and updating internal regulatory documentation.

- Occupational safety work - PPE check-lists, occupational risk level assessment records, collective protection equipment check-lists, qualification cards, work place conditions assessment records, calculating bonuses for hazardous and noxious work conditions, work environment assessment based on the work intensity, work environment assessment based on the workload; - Developing environmental safety designs - maximum permissible emissions, environmental impact assessment, environmental control of production processes, environmental pollution assessment, inventory tracking, introducing a data sheet system for greenhouse gases, tracking and recording hazarouds impacts on the environment, submitting requests and obtaining emission permits.
