Main responsibilities: - Technical and general supervision for construction activities; - Responsibility to run day to day operations on the construction site in accordance with short-term and long term schedule including QA/QC and sub-contractor coordination; - Implement and supervise adherence of contractor’s safety at site. Process permit to work and conduct daily tool box meeting at site to ensure zero incident can be achieved; - Supervise company resources and subcontractors in implementing construction activities to adhere with the contractual schedule and to maximize productivity; - Coordination of all construction activities to be done by the planned scope of works on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule; - Follow for the tasks and implement safe methods of working including risk assessment process; - Ensure that the relevant Inspection & Test Plan is properly implemented and related QC records prepared and accepted as applicable; - Check, evaluate and approve release of materials to be used by the subcontractors in all civil and structural activities at site; - Responsibility for ensuring the implementation of all arrangements as special within document are implement, monitored and controlled; - Checking of works prior to succeeding activities to ensure that the work complies with the drawings, specification and approved procedure. - Checking the implementation of policies relevant procedures, method statements and risk assessments for work activities ensuring monitored and full compliance is achieved; - Shall perform first line inspections and follow it with developing and implementing inspection requests in accordance with construction prioritize and to carry out routine inspections when requested; - Be aware of good practices relevant to the work activities. The advice from HSE of these matters; - Stop any activity that is not safe participate in WRAP & TRIC; - Ensure that potential HSE hazards are recorded o Risk assessment work sheet and appropriate arrangements are made to deal with them. Construction responsibilities: - Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance. - Technical supervision over construction of the designed facilities, controlling compliance of the construction materials, structures and items to the approved project requirements, construction standards and specifications; - Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.; - Coordination of all construction activities to be done by the planned scope of works on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule; - Supervision over the course of construction process; - Determination of the construction cost, required equipment, materials and items and their quantity, control their compliance to the approved project requirements, standards and specifications; - Conducting a meeting with contractors to identify any reasons for keeping up with the construction schedule and tasks, to ensure the continued progress of construction, monitoring and statistics; - Inspection and monitoring stages of the construction process in combination with other disciplines at the basic level, such as electrical, mechanical, piping as well as the timely detection of unacceptable mistakes affecting the construction process; - Conducting the inspection at the site according to the ITP of the company; - Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. -Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. - Preparation of the scientific documentation and reporting; - Solve engineering and construction issues arising throughout the course of construction and engineering and technical support; - Monitoring and supervision of the work being undertaken by the subordinate’s Engineers and Site Supervisors, taking any necessary remedial action to ensure full compliance with all relevant standards, e.g., Contract documents, specifications, method statements, policies and procedures; - Monitoring and input into data collection systems, providing standard reports as necessary to ensure that superior has the necessary up-to-date information and data to effectively manage the project to meet its objectives; - Consulting on industrial and civil construction; - Cooperation and consulting with other departments and specialists during works performed; - Execution of tasks in accordance with RoK legislation. Scheduling of major work priorities and activities in line with the construction schedule; - Contribute to a formal review of the project with relevant parties on completion, to establish opportunities for learning/development to enhance future contracts; - Competent knowledge of the politics and culture of construction production and the subtleties and nuances of working with foreign and local companies; HSE Responsibilities: - ensure timely implementation of the obligations of contractors on the procedures of opening and closing of the work permits; - regular inspection of condition of working places prior to starting work, organization of the elimination of identified deviations by team members and implementing corrective actions and reporting them to the Discipline Leader; - ensuring that workers under his control work according to the approved Project HSE requirements; - ensuring that workers under his control are competent and trained for the tasks they need to perform; - ensuring that workers in his area of responsibility are equipped with the tools necessary to ensure safe conduct of work at site facilities, as well as primary firefighting devices; - Provision of sites with visual propaganda devices related to labor protection and fire safety requirements; - ensuring adherence to HSE requirements related to his area of responsibility and shall ensure that all mitigations are implemented to ensure a healthy and safe work environment; - Organization of use, in compliance with requirements, of tools, equipment and protection devices, including PPE, to ensure a healthy and safe work environment; - performing / attending daily toolbox talks with work crews at the work place to discuss the relevant safe work methods for tasks to be performed; - ensuring proper housekeeping in work places, passages and access roads, as well as sufficient lighting of work places by performing daily inspections of the worksite under control to ensure safe and healthy working conditions, and taking measures aimed at eliminating identified deviations; - taking the necessary action against workers under control if found Violating Project HSE requirements.

Responsibilities: - To be aware of all Health and safety requirements as set out in the project; - Checking levels and quantifying volumes of earth works in accordance with design in the project; - Controlling and checking works to be compliant with the drawings and construction method; - Coordination of all construction activities to be done by the planned scope of works on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule; - Preparation of all necessary documentations for construction permit; - Ensure all concrete is to a class and that slump tests and regularly contracted; - Check construction assembly of all rebar work, match this exactly to drawing, specifications and construction method; - Liaise with Quality management to ensure that the specifications and quality standards are being achieved and adhered to in line with contract conditions; - In line with the project schedule monitor and record contractor’s progress in line with project schedule and key milestones; - Evaluate construction against drawings recording and reporting and deviation or change to agreed design; - To analyze the contractors workforce in terms of skills, suitability to operation and numbers deployed; - To analyze the production man hours against overall production and against specific packages or special items reporting all variations; - Be aware of all site traffic, and ensure that procedures and traffic management are in place for movement in and around the overall site; - To be aware of all material brought to certified laydown areas and monitor that storage is managed in line with material types and requirement of the construction; - Installation of sanitary and technical systems, process lines and above ground pipelines; - Control over the production of the concrete construction and prefabricated reinforced concrete works in copper plant; - Informing management about all changes on the process of work; - Supervision over other employees.
