Product Manager (last year, IPO), before that Export and corporate sales
As Export sales agent. Created base to exponentially grow corporate sales in Verkkokauppa.com while maintaining several million Export sales in 5-person rotation which was grabbing all of our attention.
We managed keep our profit margin identical when low-profit items (iPhone etc) sales dropped dramatically in mid 2012 by agreeing internally and then teaching our corporate clients what kind of private label accessories are selling well to our export clients. Thus driving sales of our top-margin items.
Got promoted to Product Manager of Software, ESD and at the same time integrating purchases to Corporate sales.
As product manager upgraded our marketing budget by 20% and agreed that we'll have bigger cut of our annual sales for next year marketing with key partners (Microsoft, Adobe, Corel, F-Secure, Symantec). Reorganized our product portfolio, redesigned our product shelves, redesigned our product categories in the web store.
Pushed marketing director to change all marketing references in PDF/flash versions from "Product number 26709" to clickable product links (internet) or www.vk.fi/26709 (print).
Harmonized software sales information to better suit needs of the client, and guard interests of the company against returns following liabilities achieved because of bad product information.
Created and led internal development group for integration of gift-cards and software-sales as activation cards (smaller profit, but cards are not in balance of the company, thus greater stock without impact on stock value and better selection of items). Red and corrected contracts for these contracts and created process how the cards should be activated in our superstore and in the internet sales.
