- Provided reports to the management relevant to quantity surveying cost estimation reports-based CBS; - Quantified all the materials needed to complete the construction projects- based on WBS; - Interacted with contractors, planners and construction teams, cost center managers regarding to issues of materials flow, material take offs, bills of materials, fixed asset, material consumption during construction phase; -Defined materials that are inconsistent with the contract documents and notifies the contractor for corrective action and follow-up until inconsistency is resolved; -Provided tracking and materials&cost management of capital investment on projects and monitoring all project activities verification of work completed with regard to labor and material; During the construction, I was involved in process of materials and cost controlling. I was responsible for managing all project costs from pitch to completion. I estimated the cost of construction for the processing plant, raw materials extraction units (BLOCKS), drilling fluids station, pipeline construction and the road construction. I provided undertaking costs analysis for building projects, which included estimating costs of digging a pit for construction, consumable construction materials, concrete, groundwork, construction phase, manpower and others. On the regular bases, I attended meetings and liaising with stakeholders on business matters. I Inspected and then valued completed work with providing cost analysis of site resources (monthly cost & value reports, quarterly reports & cash flow information) to the management. I developed strong relationships with the clients and sub-contractors when prepared tender and contract documents. In cooperation with the planning department, I was involved in process of analyzing the drawings and determining all the materials required to accomplish the design. My technical background as the mechanical engineer (B.S. in mechanical engineering) will be a solid asset to insure multi discipline work accomplishment assignments as the Quantity Surveyor.
