Support Operation and Automation teams

• Responsible for the safe and proper operation of a power plant. Use local automatic/ manual modes of operation, start-up, shut-off, synchronizes and regulates power and reactive loads on gas turbine-generators. Operate of power plant according with (Manual) from manufacturer MHPS (Mitsubishi Hitachi Power System). • Maintains power-plant operating log and prepares power generation and transmission equipment operating reports. • Prepares equipment malfunction reports, makes inspections and from observation, determines whether equipment is operating properly. • Operates power plant auxiliary systems such as HVAC systems, lighting systems, telephone and radio communication systems, station battery, etc. • Specific duties including: communicate with systems operators to regulate and coordinate transmission loads and frequencies, and line voltages. Examine and test electrical power distribution machinery and equipment, using testing devices. • Inspect records and log book entries, and communicate with other plant personnel, in order to assess of equipment status. • Receive outage calls and call in necessary personnel during power outages and emergencies. • Adjust controls to generate specified electrical power or to regulate the flow of power between generating stations and substations. • Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, cooling water system, filters, fuel oil, fuel gas, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power. • Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems. • Communicate with systems operators, dispatchers to regulate and coordinate transmission loads and frequencies, and line voltage. • Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs, and reports. • Prepare and submit equipment failure, facility status and investigation reports, daily reports for other structural Team leader of Bonatti, Superintendent of GTPP, Supervisor of GTPP and Engineers of GTPP. • Take part in investigations, Tests, Planning Changeovers pumps, fans, changeover fuel on turbines in accordance with the approved schedule.

• Operation, control of uninterrupted and safe correct operation of the main and aux equipment and instrumentation and control systems of power plant. • Technical maintenance in accordance with the approved schedule, repair, maintenance of equipment Instrumentation and control system, Fire systems such as Minimax on turbines also hazardous gas detection systems as Orion XT, also Exhaust gas analyse system CEMS (Control emission monitoring system). • Control of working condition and safe operation of equipment. • Annual verification, testing, calibration of sensors, valves, etc. • Perform a daily inspection of the instrumentation and control systems on turbines. • Keep attached equipment clean. Cleaning of the fixed site. • Installation and dismantling of temperature, pressure, level sensors according to safety rules PTW, JSA etc. • Deduce in the repair of instrumentation and automated control systems, preparing isolation, temporary isolation, long-term isolation.
