As a finance section leader, I have: • Proposed Tax code amendments based on the best practices of US, Japan, Russia, etc. Lead challenging presentations on behalf of UNDP for Kazakhstani Tax Committee and Ministry of agriculture; Prepared a detailed report with financial calculations, tables and graphs to support proposed amendments.

This was a time-constrained project that required correct recalculation of Corporate Income Tax deduction prior to the governmental tax review. Strict scheduling, leadership and control of the subordinate accountants let me accomplish the project on time. As a result, the company avoided paying penalties and fines which previously were expected to be charged by the tax committee.

I have been leading the company's most significant project, bringing more than 50% of profits. Calculation of Individual Income Tax returns for foreign employees of Karachaganak oil field was an important brand building contract for my employer. Thought, I stared as a med-level employee, within a year my advanced excel skills, professional English and strict scheduling practice brought me a leadership role. As a result of my work, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. prolonged our service contract for additional 3-year term. This was a great success for an average sized auditing firm.

Initiated and accomplished several marketing campaigns to increase sales of company products. Took part in store checks and focus groups. Lead consumer analysis. Prepared financial calculations to show company income growth due to the proposed initiatives, took part in tackling logistics issue to deliver new product on time to the country market.
