Manage corporate safety incident notification and investigation procedures, ensure compliance with procedures requirements within KPO, as well as revise these procedures periodically to ensure they are aligned with RoK legislation, parent companies requirements and international HSE standards;

Ensure the quality and completeness of information in incident investigation report and other documents provided by responsible parties and return it for rework if required;
Manage the process of identification and agreement of responsible parties for corrective actions established as per incident investigation results within the frame of the whole company. To improve the monitoring system of corrective actions completion (to call meetings with personnel responsible for actions completion to discuss completion status if required);
Register incident investigation reports into Synergi database to ensure effective incidents data inputs. To ensure the quality of corrective actions completion in Synergi database by responsible parties. To ensure security and confidentiality of incident investigation documentation (electronic and hard copies);
Cooperate with parent companies HSE representatives on incident investigation results and lessons learned of high potential incidents and lost work day cases in order to comply with Final Production Sharing Agreement (FPSA);
Cooperate with state authorities and to ensure all required incidents notifications (including incident in contract companies) and reports are submitted and registered in compliance with RoK legislation;
Ensure adequate procedure for incident notification to state authorities is available, and also consult KPO and contractor personnel on this procedure when required;
Conduct audits and quality reviews of corrective actions closure raised from incident investigations, produce periodic reports as required;
Prepare, distribute and communicate flashbacks with lessons learned as per serious incidents investigation results to all the company and parent companies(PaCo) personnel;
Submit weekly incident reports to established distribution list for internal awareness with in KPO;
Conduct analysis of incidents and root causes, advise management on safety issues that pose a threat to the venture and its workforce, working closely with Synergi database and reporting coordinator;
Consult with KPO Legal department regarding the notification and investigation process issues;
Prepare the projects of orders/prikaz, solutions, instructions, directions, methodical and review documents in labour protection, industrial safety and environmental protection issues.
Keep tracking of national /international incidents and communicate lessons learned applied to KPO organization;
Prepare presentations on investigation of major incidents (for ex.HPI’s) for KPO management and Parent Companies;
Participating in development and preparation of incident and accidents investigation training programs as well as identification of root causes;
Ensure adequate resources to provide incident investigation training to personnel, including the preparation of handouts, selection and assessment of potential service providers and trainers / instructors;

The Facilities Engineering (FE) Safety Specialist reports directly to the FE Construction Group (CG) Superintendent. The person in this position will work closely with FECG and all TCO OE/HES groups in all the following identified areas:
Implementation of the CHESM process to include: development and updating of contractor Progress Improvement Plans (PIPs); tracking PIP action items to completion; monitor contractor progress against HES metrics; monitor the CHESM safety rating process of FECG contractors.
FECG Auditing Process to include: scheduling and participating in regular Job Site and Permit to Work audits; maintain the tracking database for audit action items; tracking audit action items to completion.
