Ground Operations Dispatcher – Duties and Responsibilities Flight Coordination: Coordinate all ground operations for arriving and departing aircraft. Communicate with pilots, ramp agents, load control, and air traffic control to ensure smooth turnaround operations. Load Planning: Prepare and verify load sheets, weight and balance, and fuel distribution in coordination with the flight crew. Ensure that baggage, cargo, and passengers are loaded in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Aircraft Movement Control: Monitor aircraft movements on the ground (taxi-in/taxi-out) and allocate parking stands or gates. Coordinate towing and pushback operations with ramp personnel and ground handling teams. Communication: Serve as the central point of contact between the flight crew, ground handling teams, and airport authorities. Relay operational messages, slot times, and weather updates to ensure timely departures. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare flight dispatch paperwork, such as flight manifests and operational logs. Record all operational activities and report any delays, incidents, or irregularities to the operations supervisor. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all ground operations are performed in accordance with company procedures, aviation regulations, and safety standards. Monitor ramp safety, including compliance with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and equipment positioning. Irregular Operations Management: Assist in managing flight delays, diversions, and cancellations by coordinating with relevant departments. Communicate with passengers and staff when operational changes occur.
