Ensure Corrosion Management System implementation across all KPO Process Facilities. Monitoring of internal and external corrosion in all process facilities, including pipelines, monitoring and measuring Corrosion of Key Performance Indicators and providing cost effective recommendations to minimize corrosion. Applying the best corrosion practices in compliance with Local and International codes, norms and standards. Support to Lead Corrosion and Materials Engineer in the review of relevant documentation, preparation of Material Selection report and failure analysis. Implement all relevant tasks included in the corrosion management system. Develop procedures for controlling internal corrosion as well as procedures for design, installation and maintenance of corrosion control systems. Develop procedures and guidelines for corrosion assessment, corrosion monitoring, measurement of corrosion controls efficiency, data collection and data analysis. Classify equipment according to Corrosion Failure Likelihood and allocates appropriate prevention corrosion program. Contribute to develop and/or optimization of Integrity strategy according to corrosion mechanisms, threads, mitigations and results. Advise management on limiting conditions of service to which items of equipment may be subjected. Monitor effectiveness of corrosion control programs and develop appropriate corrective action to ensure adequate corrosion protection. Participate in identification and then planning and implementation of all mitigation actions required to meet the corrosion programs. Ensure that all corrosion control systems are operative and fully documented and approved in accordance with corporate procedures and standards. Establish and maintain open communication with operations team members regarding corrosion issues affecting mechanical integrity. Analyse corrosion data in order to determine specific actions to minimize corrosion effects and prevent unexpected failures. Prepare corrosion activity reports including corrosion cost control and corrosion key performance indicators. Ensure corrosion monitoring data is obtained and that corrosion management data base is maintained up to date. Ensure effective implementation of optimized corrosion control practices and cost-saving recommendations. Contribute to the development and execution of the annual capital budget required to ensure compliance with Failure Analysis requirements. Provide assistance in pressure equipment failure investigations and other unsatisfactory equipment condition Root Cause Analyses.

Monitor the technological process of Water Treatment - control the technological parameters and analyses of the Boiler, Process, Potable and Firewater. Organizing rational water regime of the following plants: 1) High pressure Steam Generator 2) Steam condensate recovery system 3) Demineralization unit 4) Technological equipment (e.g. separators, heat exchangers, main lines, etc.)) 5) Process water 6) High salinity water 7) Potable water 8) Firewater Ensure the normal operation of devices used by the water treatment team; makes instructions and guidance for their handling. Direct and participate in conducting lab tests at laboratory and in conducting trials at the plant – at live operational conditions. Keep updating lab tests and trials results and analyses. Monitor reporting on the status and quality of anticorrosive protection control of Process water system. Monitoring and controlling continuous Corrosion inhibitor treatment to process equipment and pipelines at the injection points, according to the technical regulations and recommendations of the PIA department. Provide operation and equipment for the Chemical application department, measuring devices and chemical reagents necessary for carrying out analyses, tests. Controls the execution of tests. Take measures to prevent scale formation, corrosion processes, bacterial contamination of water and process equipment, removal of oil products and suspended particles from process water. Systematically examine the causes of deviations from the approved norms of the Boiler water regime and gives timely and reasonable recommendations for the normalization of the water-chemical regime. Develop norms of consumption and supply of chemical reagents to maintain optimal process conditions and the quality of controlled water. Provide the following reports to customer representatives: - Daily report on the chemical consumption and control parameters of process, boiler, steam, demineralized water and potable water. - Monthly report on the Key Performance Indicators of water treatment plants - Updating the register of current projects after bi-weekly /monthly meetings with the Production Optimization Department - Reports on laboratory and trials at the plant (when required)
