Pre-Commissioning Mechanical Engineer/ Flange Management System

- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and user manuals.
- Conduct detailed analyses to assess mechanical system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Lead and coordinate engineering projects, from conceptualization through to implementation, while managing timelines, and resources.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, designers, and manufacturers to ensure integrated and efficient product development.
- Oversees the design, selection and specification of flanges and related components, in accordance with ASME, ASTM, API standards to ensure compatibility with piping systems and operational requirement.
- Supervise the installation of flanges, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and integration with piping systems to prevent leaks and ensure operational integrity.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of flanges and related assemblies to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed Database, including flange specifications, installation procedures, inspection reports.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to flange performance, including leaks, misalignments, and material defects, and recommend corrective actions
- Proficient in reviewing and annotating engineering drawings to highlight critical aspects of flange design, installation, and maintenance. Ability to accurately markup drawings to reflect changes, corrections, and updates while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME and ASTM.
- Adept at providing clear, detailed notes and explanations on marked-up drawings, facilitating effective communication with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of modifications.
- Competent in using software and other engineering tools for markup tasks, allowing for efficient and accurate updates to technical drawings and integration of feedback.
- Combining job duties in the role of a leak test engineer: preparation of PTW, leak test markup, perform leak tests using helium leak detector and bubble test. Operate and maintain leak detection equipment to accurately identify and quantify leaks.
