Head of quality control section / Head of Quality Control Department
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
- Organizing and supervising technological production processes in operational mode and ensuring acceptance of finished products in compliance with GOST, OST, TU, and other regulatory standards.
- Ensuring adherence to technological regimes at all stages of production according to process instructions and control charts.
- Maintaining material and metal balances, including qualitative and quantitative accounting of products, and preparing daily summaries for management.
- Organizing correct sampling and processing of production samples, ensuring timely delivery to the laboratory and verification of analytical results.
- Developing, implementing, and updating instructions, sampling schemes, process control charts, and technical control procedures.
- Operational control at all stages of production: quality of semi-finished and finished products, measurement instruments, process tooling, and proper storage of raw materials and products.
- Implementing quality improvement initiatives, optimizing methods, standards, and control indicators, including automation and mechanization of control operations.
- Monitoring technological process parameters, compliance with regulatory timelines, and external laboratory controls.
- Preparing documentation confirming product quality, handling claims, and ensuring timely measures for production control.
- Managing Quality Control Department staff, providing necessary resources, technical documentation, and measuring instruments.
- Organizing training and professional development for QC personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, industrial, and environmental regulations, maintaining labor discipline, confidentiality, and adherence to labor laws.
- Monitoring compliance with internal regulations, technological instructions, and quality standards.
- Evaluating and improving existing production processes, developing proposals for optimization, rationalization, and modernization.
- Monitoring new quality standards and regulations, testing new quality control methods, and implementing enterprise-wide quality management systems.
- Conducting financial and risk analysis for the department or projects and developing measures for risk mitigation.
- Defining audit methodology and scope, preparing documentation for the quality management system.
- Contributing to brand reputation management, business strategy formulation, and alignment of business goals with client requirements.
